Who am I?
Hi, I'm Andrew R. Thanks for checking out my site. Now, a little bit about myself. I am a graduate from the Lassonde School of Engineering, having earned a BSc. degree in Computer Science. Currently, I am actively engaged in the cybersecurity field as a professional, bringing real-world experience to complement my academic background. When I’m not coding, I can be found on the nearest tennis court! As a former member of York University’s Men’s Tennis team, I’ve been a committed player to the sport and an enthusiastic teammate since starting at just eight years old.
I have a very strong passion for computers, and I love tinkering with them. I am constantly constantly digging into the latest tech trends, recently having the privilege of building my own rig.

Hypertext Markup Language (HTML). Standard markup language for documents designed to be displayed in a web browser. Extensive practice through building this website, as well as York University's Net-Centric Computing course.
MERN
The MERN stack combines MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js for streamlined full-stack JavaScript web development, offering a cohesive and efficient solution. Awesome to build full-stack apps such as an E-Commerce platform.
CSS
CSS Stands for "Cascading Style Sheet". CSS is a style sheet language used for describing the presentation of a document written in a markup language such as HTML. Refined in my Net-Centric Computing course, and showcased heavily in this very site!
JavaScript
Often shortened to JS, JavaScript is an object-oriented language, and is best known as the scripting language for Web Pages. A very interesting language to learn as it brings life to a web page, and brings lifetime updates and total interactiveness to the user.
Java
One of my favourite languages, Java is a high-level object-oriented programming language. Java is class-based, which means that it is designed to have as few implementation dependencies as possible. Extensive use in my Advanced Object-Oriented Programming course.
Python
Python is an interpreted, object-oriented, high-level language with dynamic semantics. Python has some of the easiest to learn syntax, with very good readability. Self-taught, used to power my Discord Bot to enjoy with friends.
C
C is a general-purpose, procedural computer programming language supporting structured programming, lexical variable scope, recursion, and has a static type system. Used extensively in my Software Tools and OS Fundamentals course.
Eiffel
Another object-oriented programming language designed by Bertrand Meyer in 1985, with the goal of increasing the reliability of commercial software development. In 2005, Eiffel became an ISO-standardized language. I used this to learn various principles in my Software Design course.
